Red Deer

Gledpark's Red Deer live all year in large paddocks with plenty of cover; providing the forbs and woody browse which are a key component of their diet. Our supplementary feeding during the winter months results in very high calving rates as yearlings and no calf mortality.

Gledpark animals are also suited as breeding stock to improve wild populations.

As such proud to have been selected to provide breeding hinds to Forestry Commission Scotlands Red Deer Range
Clatteringshaws.

Whitebred Shorthorns

The fold contains the Whitebred Shorthorn Association's Champion Female of Nov 2013, additionally for 2019 and 2020 our sire is the Beef Expo example of the breed.

All our animals are tag tested clear of BVD at birth, we are on a 4 yearly testing regime for TB and all animals are tested additionally for Johnnes.  We are PCHS members and enrolled in the Beef Efficiency Scheme.  QMS Assurance No 17298.
